I just bought a guitar. The body is flaming red fading to woodgrain around the sound hole. I started lessons this past Monday with Luke, who's from Sweden and is quite a good player. He helped me buy my Floda late this afternoon.
I'm very happy.
:-)

Posted by: brian at February 19, 2004 12:02 AMThe brand is a Romance, and the model a Floda, from what I can tell (I'm new to the world of guitars). Being in China fairly close to Russia, I don't know if that's Chinese or Russian or what (all the writing was in English with no Chinese characters or Cyrillic). And because of my haste/excitement running up to my office after the bus ride home, I do need to correct my description slightly: the body is flame red in the back, sides, at the top of the soundhole and all around the edges of the face with the woodgrain bleeding down from the soundhole in a giant teardrop. It's an interesting effect and is really beautiful in the morning sun.
